Mrs. DeFina's Fifth Grade Class is "Classroom of the Week!"
Mrs. DeFina’s fifth grade class is involved in many projects and learning activities. Each student wrote two experiences that showed kindness this year. Look for these stories on the footprints by our classroom door. In math, we are collecting and organizing data. We timed how long we could stand on each foot with our eyes closed and made a line plot with the information. After that we timed our parents! It’s pretty hard to do! We are studying earth science using new textbooks this year. In social studies, we are learning what it was like to live in the United States during World War II. We have a big computer project that goes along with that topic. Our class enjoys working together to learn all the interesting subjects we study in fifth grade.
