Mrs. Fuller's Fourth Grade Class is "Classroom of the Week"

Have you passed Room 18 lately? If you have, then you know about all of the exciting and interesting things we have been learning about. We have been learning how to become creative and unique poets. We worked in groups to write our own "Definition Poetry." That was a lot of fun!

In Social Studies, we have been learning about English settlers and the 13 original colonies. We have also been working on our own brochures for each of the colonies.

Room 18 loves Math! We just finished multiplication and division. We played a lot of games to help us practice and memorize our multiplication facts. We are starting to learn geometry. We have also been working very diligently in getting ready for the New York State Math Assessment. Mrs. Fuller is confident that we will all do beautifully!!

Science is so much fun. We are lucky enough to learn Science in the classroom and science lab. We just started our plant unit. We can't wait to learn all about plants!

We just went on a fabulous trip to the Cow Neck Peninsula in Port Washington. We were able to see how people lived during Colonial times. Room 18 is such a rewarding and enriching place to be. If you would like to find out more about Room 18, look for our next issue of Room 18 Digest arriving at newsstands in the very near future!
