Welcome to Room 1!
We are so busy in our classroom doing new and exciting things. It
is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is already here. Here are some

Science Lab- In Science
Lab, we did a taste experiment. We observed our tongues in mirrors,
and discussed how each part tastes different things. After we
did our observations, we tasted five different foods. The sweet
chocolate chip cookie was definitely the class favorite!

Buddies- We are buddies
with Mrs. DeFina’s fifth grade class. Sometimes we get
to spend time with them on Thursday afternoons. On Halloween,
we played a very special Halloween BINGO game. It was spooktacular!

Computer Lab- We love
going to the lab and learning how to use new programs. So far
this year, we have used programs like Kid Pix, Kidspiration,
Trudy’s Time and Place House and Type to Learn Jr.
