Second Grade Solar System Webquest
Introduction:
There are nine planets
that exist in the solar system. You are junior astronauts traveling to a planet.
You cannot travel to Earth since that is where you live. You will have to gather
information before you leave for that planet. Your tasks are listed below. Once
you have completed your tasks you will hand them in to Mission Control (Mrs.
Kalish). Good luck with your mission. It's time to BLAST OFF!
Task:
You will need to complete the following tasks before you leave on your mission.
* Your will research the
Internet to find information on your planet.
* Use the Planet Worksheet to collect data on your planet.
* You will complete all the below steps.
* Your Kidspiration webs will be posted on the internet with your Kid Pix pictures.
Process:
Step 1: You will recieve
a planet from Mission Control to research.
Step 2: Answer the questions on your Planet Worksheet.
Step 3. Make a Kidspiration web of your planet.
Step 4. Draw a picture of your planet using Kid Pix.
Step 5. Word process information about your Planet.
Step 6. Make a planet booklet.
