The Cantiague Elementary school participated in its own Student Council Election process during the month of October, culminating in the election of a President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary for the 2007-2008 school year. All the candidates from the fourth and fifth grades demonstrated tremendous creativity and enthusiasm during the campaign activities. These activities included hanging posters with their themes or slogans, making tri-fold boards providing information about themselves and why they wanted the position for which they were running, and finally creating and delivering wonderful speeches to the students in grades 3 - 5. After the ballots were counted, the newly elected Student Council Officers were announced:

All of the candidates should be commended for their hard work and all are invited to be special Ambassadors to the Student Council this year.
