Dear Jackson Families,

Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year at the George A. Jackson Elementary School. We hope that you'll find that we are a very active and productive PTA. There are so many wonderful events planned for the upcoming year.

Please make sure to take a look at the PTA handbook. This Handbook can be a very valuable reference guide throughout the school year. It contains phone numbers, school policies, and other general PTA & District information. Chances are, if you have a question, you will find the answer in this book. Once again, thanks to the efforts of our Shared Decision Making Team, we are especially pleased to add a list of parent volunteers willing to translate many world languages for those families that need interpreters.

We look forward to seeing you at our PTA meetings, fundraising events and fun filled family events. We hope you will join us and reap the rewards of being involved in your children's school.
