School District Requests Breakfast Program Exemption

The Federal and State governments have mandated that all school districts implement a breakfast program for students. Based on a survey Jericho School District sent to parents of children in grades K-5, the District is requesting an exemption from the breakfast program for the 2006-2007 school year. The results of the survey indicated that more than 80 percent of those responding would not use the program.
