DVDs and Videos
The Jericho Middle School Library's collection of over 600
DVDs and videos is always growing.
Library Hours
The library is open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. These
after school hours give students time to complete homework and
research assignments. Librarians
Our librarians are Mrs.
Minikel and Mrs. Kearon. Information
skills to last a lifetime - that's what students are taught in the
Jericho
Middle School Library. Patricia Minikel and Joan
Kearon, both certified School Library Media Specialists,
work together to ensure that every middle school student learns
to be an effective "retriever" and user of information. Whenever
a class schedules into the library, the librarians teach formal
lessons on
how to use the library's resources to meet the specific needs of
the assignment. A librarian is available throughout the day and
after school to assist students.
Secretary
Mrs. Berger, is our fabulous secretary.
She works from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Teacher Aide
Mary Kuddar, our wonderful
teacher aide, is available to assist students in the library
from 8:00 a.m to 3:30
p.m.
The
Jericho Public Library
The Jericho Middle School Library and the Jericho Public Library
work closely together to serve the needs of our students and teachers.
Check the public library for materials that have been put on reserve
for class assignments.
