Nassau County Anti Bias Consortium Book Talk

Each year, the Nassau County Anti Bias Consortium sponsors a Book Talk for middle school students. This year, Jericho Middle School was fortunate enough to host this book talk. Jericho teachers Elisa Water, Casey Snyder, Michelle Vevante, Janice Garfinkel, Beth Brill, Matt Pagliari, Heidi Kamvakis, Joanne Verdino, Kerri Schmitt, and Pat Minikel participated in the event. During this day, students from neighboring districts joined our students in meaningful discussions about the books they read. Each book selection focused on bullying and bystander responsibility. The day was a great success and we look forward to hosting the Book Talk again!
