"Celebrate Your Roots," was the theme for this year’s Diversity Day. Diversity extends well beyond race and ethnicity. It can be noted in other forms such as religion, national origin, native language, socio-economic class, physical and mental ability, sexual orientation, interests, opinions, and politics. This year’s show was designed to educate our school community about the diversity that exists in Jericho and around the world. The goal of the show was to give us all a chance to stop and think about what each of us has to offer the world and about the many components that make us individuals of value. Congratulations and thanks to all of the Diversity Day participants.
