The Mission of the Robert Seaman Elementary School is to promote a community of students, family, and staff who will address the changing physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of elementary-aged youngsters and direct their energy and vitality toward the realization of mastery level performance.
To achieve this, we will maintain high expectations for all and develop programs which foster critical thinking, problem solving, curiousity, an appreciation of the natural world, and the ability to adapt to our ever-changing global society.
We will embrace all culture and foster programs to build self-esteem. We will recognize our responsibilities to ourselves, our families, our community, our country and our worlds.

Development of “Seaman Cares…” themes for monthly activities in cooperation with PTA Community Service Committee
Suggestions for Parents for maintaining continuity of school instruction, such as importance of attendance, punctuality, and minimizing appointments during the school day, etc. through Site Based letter and PTA Handbook clarifications
Survey of parents of use of school t-shirts on trips
Reviewed the school budget and Blue Ribbon application process
Discussed expansion of Science Fair to include other curriculum areas2001-2002
